About the Event

Join the Fund Her Tri UK team for an inspiring evening with Laura Siddall (Sid), a professional triathlete, at Giant Camden.

Sid is a dynamic British triathlete and global traveler, whose journey has seen her transition from a mechanical engineer and British Army officer to a full-time professional triathlete. She has lived and trained in various parts of the world, passionately pursuing her racing career. Starting her athletic journey in multiple sports, Sid found her calling in triathlon in Australia, leading to multiple amateur World Championships before turning professional in 2014.

She is a four-time Ironman Champion and achieved two top 10 finishes at the Ironman World Championships. Beyond competing, Sid actively contributes to the triathlon community as a member of the Professional Triathlete Organisation's Athlete Board and Anti-Doping committee, and as part of the Women’s Sport Trust UNLOCKED programme, Switch the Play Foundation, and British Triathlon's Sustainability Commission. She also engages in coaching, mentoring, podcasting, and public speaking, and supports emerging female triathletes through her Sid Squads initiative.

In 2023 Sid was hit by a car during IRONMAN Brazil, suffering a brain bleed. She was given a wild card for the IRONMAN World Champs, where she finished an impressive 16th considering the months lost and injury sustained and rehab. She went on to won Patagonman in December an Xtreme iron-distance event. But the last few years have been a roller coaster, mentally and physically, but also where the joy and benefit of sport has played a huge support.

Attendees will enjoy exclusive discounts on cycling, swimming, and triathlon equipment, with wetsuit fitting assistance available (early arrival required). Light refreshments will be provided.

Don't miss this opportunity to meet and be inspired by one of the sport's most dedicated athletes!
